EMERGENCY ENTRY VISA (VISA ON ARRIVAL)

 

This is a visa issued to persons who are seeking to enter Ghana from a country where there is no Ghana consulate. It is also issued to persons who are seeking to make an emergency journey to Ghana.

                           

PROCESS: Payments are always made before the application process begins.

  

​​ REQUIREMENTS

• Application letter for Emergency Entry Visa/Visa on Arrival.

• Bio data page of the person coming.

• Copies of Company Documents, certificate to commence business, certificate of incorporation and company’s code.

• Copy of the Ghanaian passport of the person who signed the letter or the Resident permit of the foreign national who is applying on his/her behalf.

• Tax Clearance Certificate of the company

EXTENSION OF VISITOR’S VISA

This is issued to persons who entered Ghana, have exhausted their stay and wish to stay further.  Upon arrival into the country visitors are granted 30 Days or 60 Days; based on the discretion of the officer at post. When the days granted is exhausted, you can apply for extension up to a maximum of 90 days. Note that this is only for the country, it is not a traveling visa.

• Application letter for the Extension of visitors permit

• Filled Immigration forms

• Two passport pictures

• Non-citizen ID

• Return Ticket

 

RE-ENTRY PERMIT

This is issued to persons who are already in the country and wish to re-enter, persons who wants to travel out, and return within a short time. It will be impossible for that person to apply for a visa outside Ghana. Note that your stay in the country must be valid.

• Two passport pictures

• Filled Immigration forms
